Old World Deli is proudly owned and operated by Anna & Christos Adams.

Anna is a Fairhaven College graduate who spent years working in restaurants in Bellingham & Skagit County. Anna volunteered in her field but just couldn’t shake her passion & love of the restaurant business.

Christos comes from a family of restaurateurs, five generations deep in the Los Angeles area and all the way back to Greece. In his early twenties, Christos had a stint back east with the chef who studied under Christos’ grandfather at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers in Stamford, Ct. Although he learned the lay of cooking from the bottom up Christos decided he had to get back to the west coast.

When Anna & Christos opened the deli in June of 2007 the wine rack was empty, there were six sandwiches on the menu and a little one on the way. With a lot of hard work, a baby, an expansion and a few more employees Old World Deli has grown up a lot in the past few years. Give her a few more years and their daughter Mira will be taking orders and making soup alongside her Papa.
